Our Boca Grandi summer camps guarantees an awesome week full of fun and sports activities in the water and on the beach.
Our surf camp is for most a first introduction to the sport, where we mainly focus on fun. Everyone can enter at their own level and is taught by experienced Surfblend instructors.
Even if you don’t necessarily want to become a surfer, this camp is really worth it and a nice introduction to the sport and you are guaranteed to make new friends. All food and drinks are inclusive, tasty and healthy and mainly organic.
The Kids Camps take place at Boca Grandi Beach Club. This is our new home base, a place where the water sports community of The Hague feels at home. This community is supported and will hopefully grow through the programs we have, with which we hope to connect sport and nature for everyone. Boca Grandi Beach Club is where you will create and maintain a bond with countless people. Here children get a chance to further develop their personality and self-image in a social environment, while relaxing and having fun in a wonderful environment.
You can choose between Boca Kids Surf Camp and Boca Kids Kite Camp. The only difference between the two camps is that at the Boca Kids Kite Camp the emphasis is on kiting and at the Surf Camp more on surfing, both camps are for children between 8 and 14 years old. Both camps are taught by professional (international) instructors from “kiteboardschool.nl”. The Instructors can guide the kids in Dutch and English, they are specially certified for this. During the camps, the kids are divided into different groups so that each child gets the right kind of equipment and because the certification varies per sport. In addition to surfing and kiting, there are many fun activities for when there are no waves.
At the end of the camp, parents and the whole family are welcome for the Family Beach BBQ at Boca Grandi. Here you can also meet the surf instructors and other Boca Kids.
Our children came home every day super excited and very tired. The closing BBQ is definitely recommended. We will be back next year!

Boca Kids Camp 3 – Mon 18 to Fri 22 July
The combined experience of Kiteboardschool.nl & Surfblend.
Certified instructors are always on hand with a focus on safety and individual attention. Our camps take place rain or shine as we have activities planned for all weather conditions.
Everything is included: lunch, snacks, drinks, activities and all kite/surfing gear in kid sizes (wetsuits, harnesses, helmets, boards, kites and water shoes).
A week full of action & adrenaline, beach games, movies and much more!
We are a mixed community of international surfers who offer guidance in both English and Dutch.
Kijkduin is one of the best places for kiteboarding and surfing in the Netherlands. There is less activity in the area and nature is preserved through unique sand elements and the Sand Motor. It is well served by public transport and parking is free.
The Boca Kids will get to know the area and connect with our friendly watersports community, where we always look out for each other. They are building a second house on the beach in Kijkduin where they can continue to practice kiteboarding and surfing after their camp.
Our surf camp starts from scratch, therefore no experience is necessary as all levels of surfers are welcome. At the camp we learn from the experts in the Surfblend field who have been teaching how to catch the waves, manage the currents and read the tides since 1999. Children pick up surfing much easier and faster than adults. For this reason, our surf lessons have been adapted to train younger participants
learn how to deal with nature and their surfing environment. We also teach on our cool soft top boards designed specifically for safety in the waves. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to get to know The Hague’s surf community, learn new skills and make new friends this summer!
